You know what's better than a raise? You know what's better than respect or recognition? You wanna know what really has morale pumping in my office? Jean Day. Yep. Tomorrow is Jean Day and you can almost feel the electricity of skyrocketing morale as we all contemplate the age-old question of Wranglers or Levi's. Man, this makes up for everything.

Jean, Jean, roses are red
All the leaves have gone green
And the clouds are so low
You can touch them, and so
Come out to the meadow, Jean
Jean, Jean, you're young and alive
Come out of your half-dreamed dream
And run, if you will, to the top of the hill
Open your arms, bonnie Jean
Till the sheep in the valley come home my way
Till the stars fall around me and find me alone
When the sun comes a-singin' I'll still be waitin'
For Jean, Jean, roses are red
And all of the leaves have gone green
While the hills are ablaze
With the moon's yellow haze
Come into my arms, bonnie Jean
(Jean, Jean), Jean, you're young and alive
Come out of your half-dreamed dream
And run, if you will, to the top of the hill
Come into my arms, bonnie Jean
Anon, lay off the crack.
and may I remind you no glitter, no holes, and not too tight!!!!! I guess you're out of luck.
Out of luck and out in the field. Sadly, that equates to no jeans for Todd.
Every day is jeans day where I work.
No Murjanis, Jordache, Sasson?
Windowpanes, Calvins(for the Presbyterians)?
I learned from Wikipedia that 20 million tons of indigo are produced annual for dyeing jeans.
20 million tons?
Another wiki site says the average pair of jeans requires 8-12 grams of the dye. Rounding up a bit for inefficiencies, approximately two pairs per ounce.
This would result in 32 pairs per pound, 64,000 pairs/ton.
So, if 20 million tons of indigo are used annually to produce jeans, assuming there's about 7 billion folks on this orb, that's about 183 pairs for every black/white/yellow/brown/red/male/female/gay/straight/bisexual/metrosexual/transgendered/neutered/asexual person, and Andy Rooney, on the planet.
I think I need a bigger closet.
Stupid wikipedia.
