Bad name or good marketing?

I'm not sure if this product was well thought-out or not. Maybe they are just naive. Maybe I'm not naive enough. Maybe they wanted you to stumble across it if you googled something else, you know, manly. I don't know and I'm not going to google it to find out. And I'm not being seen in my yard riding one. By the way, it's not the "Zeon" part I have a problem with.

Sorry, Todd. I understand the sentiment and agree with the sentiment, but this one turns out to be a dud.

According to a quick search, Hustler Turf Equipment, of Hesston, KS, introduced some kind of riding mower (ZTR?) in 1964, so apparently the company was already established at that time.

The pornoperv [he would want me to use his name] who co-opted the name for his smut mag did so in 1972.

As well, the term was the title of Jackie Gleason's 1961 movie portrayal of Minnesota Fats.

So, ride your Hustler Zeon with pride, my friend. If someone has issue with it, they might be a little too familiar with the fare from the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library and Adult Bookstore.
