Oh, great. Now I have a blog! Now I have to take care of it every day! Writing as if everybody in the world will read it when probably nobody in the world will.

Five years ago I took off on the epic adventure of my life. My only regret is that I had to leave the bike there and let a dear friend go back for it while I rode home in the back of the car with a broken leg. If I had it to do over, I would have figured out a way to strap the crutches to the bike and I would have ridden home.
On that top pic - did you pack the bike after watching an episode of The Beverly Hillbillies?
Guy was in our office today, rode a ZZ-R1200. Said it would do 170. Of course I went out and fawned over the bike.
If I ever get a sport-tourer, we have to take a road trip. Park the bikes between our bivy tents and hang a tarp over the whole shebang. We won't tell Dew - I won't let him sleep in my tent, and he won't fit on your bike.
And I'll ride lead, on account of I don't want you veering off into a "Moose Crossing" sign in front of me.
