Oh, great. Now I have a blog! Now I have to take care of it every day! Writing as if everybody in the world will read it when probably nobody in the world will.

The Ukranian army stayed agile, mobile and hostile even after budget cuts
While the Ukrainians were unable to afford LRAD sonic weaponry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonic_weaponry), they did order a gross of Taiwanese-made, thumb activated bells to attach to the handlebars and pester the dickens out of the enemy.
At first Nikolai thought he might use playing cards and some clothespins to get a psych advantage over enemies, but realized that it would make his vehicle less stealthy.

What Sergei didn't know was that, in the event a quick getaway was needed, Nicolai had attached a ring and cable to the hitch pin.
What Nicolai failed to factor in, of course, was that Sergei was the one with the machine gun...
They are better funded than the state!
