It could have been worse!
I heard Barbara Streisand once and thought I was going to die.
Aww, knock it off, guys! I have to go with the Mark Davis philosophy regarding performing artists: If I only listened to CDs or watched movies of people with whom I agree politically, I could probably store my CD/DVD collection in a lunchbox.
Personally, I believe Streisand is a talented chanteuse, even if she is politically a witch. And I own, and still occasionally listen to the Chix CD's I've had from since before they became PIAs.
Now, what intrigues me about this teacher is, well, I'm 47 and didn't exactly cut my teeth on 80s rock, but I do know who Axl Rose is, and would recognize "Welcome to the Jungle", unless the students were doing a really bad cover. I mean, really, how ANCIENT was this teacher?
